A Time to Remeber

Here are some layouts using our vintage inspired kit, A Time To Remember.

From Sharon

And this is one I did using the same kit for the 123 Sept Challenge
1) use the word "smile"
2) use bookpaper
3) use a non scrappy item

I added the bookpaper and the non scrappy item is a heart I took off Sophie's hairclip. The rest is from the kit.

Grab a kit now, there are only a few left!

More Autumn Spice

Here are a couple more gorgeous layouts from Yvette and Bec.

Sharon and I are off to SIA in Sydney tomorrow and doing a class
with the fabulous Carol Wingett. We will be wearing our Simply Fresh logos on our shirts (hopefully if they get finished in time), so if you spot us, say hi!

Autumn Spice Kit

Well at long last, here is our new kit!
Called "Autumn Spice" it is full of brand new papers from Basic Grey, Pink Paislee and Cosmo Cricket.  And it's great value at $45 - and you get 7 papers, 4 cardstock and 2 alphas in this kit!  Enough for at least 6-7 layouts!

Here are some layouts using the kit:

Firstly, by Kellie Cavenett (me!) a layout I did for the 123 Challenge this month - the criteria was 1) make your own flowers 2) autumn colours 3)texture of some kind (fabric, felt, scrunched paper).

So the autumn colours were already in our kit.  I made one flower by firstly punching a 2" circle from cardstock.  I then punched a slightly smaller circle, cut a fringe around and adhered to the cardstock circle.  I sewed a button for the center and then added 6 strips of the brown velvet ribbon underneath the c/s circle.  I used a chipboard flower from the kit to trace onto the calico, cut it out, frayed it and then inked it.  I added a circle sticker from the BG alphas and then
stitched around it.  The third flower is simply the chipboard flower covered in paper and then I used the raw chipboard circle for the center, added a sticker.  The leaves were made by drawing onto calico, cutting out and inking all over with a green distress ink.  Once it had dried, I added some detail with a brown pen.

Here are some more gorgeous layouts - firstly by Yvette Adams, "Board Games" and the second one by Bec Spicer - "Joy".

We have lots more layouts to preview which I will be adding over the next few days.

And this month, we have a special promotion - the first 10 people to buy the "Autumn Spice" kit will go into a random draw to win a $25 voucher to spend.

Also, we are finalising our fundraising for the Red Cross Victorian bushfire appeal on Monday.  We are still donating 25% of all sales until Monday midday.

And the winner is.....

Well we did a random draw yesterday for all you lovely ladies who did blog links/posts to promote Simply Fresh Kits for us, and you wouldn't believe it!  Kim A was the lucky winner again!  I promise that this was completely random!  I had some photos we took at Gloria Jeans when we drew the winner, but they aren't very good.  I used my little old digi camera.  How did I ever get by with it before??  So Kim gets to spend $100 on kits of her choice!

We also wanted to award a couple of prizes for the best blog post, and hands down it would be wemdymadeit and Nicole A.  We are going to give them a $25 gift voucher to spend!

Congratulations to our three winners.  But don't feel left out the rest of you.....

Sharon and I want to thank everyone by offering a little bonus to you girls who made blog posts/links - with your next order, we will give you a free mini album!  That's a choice of three - two different Basic Grey chocolate chip albums, or one of the Heidi Swapp mirror albums.  All you need to do is post in the comments that which one you want!  Easy!  I don't have everyone's email addresses, but I will endeavour to email as many of you as possible.

Thanks again...

We are still donating 25% of sales to the Red Cross Bushfire Appeal, so now would be a good time to place an order, get your free mini album and help the Victorians who lost so much.
